| This standard is developed for the purpose of implementing the Law of the People's Republic of China on Environmental Protection, the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Water Pollution, implementing the monitoring of total discharge of pollution sources and standardizing technical requirements for routine operation of on-line monitoring equipment of water pollution sources. This standard specifies such requirements as routine maintenance, calibration, instrument check & repair, QA & QC and management of instrument archives that smooth operation of wastewater on-line monitoring system must be met and identifies specific contents for the supervision, inspection and technical examination of its operation. This standard is applicable to the technical requirements for the operation and examination of such instruments and equipment as CODCr on-line automatic monitor, water quality automatic analyzer of TOC, ammonia nitrogen automatic analyzer, water quality automatic analyzer of TP, UV absorption automatic on-line monitoring instrument, water quality automatic analyzer of pH, thermometer, and flowmeter, etc. in wastewater on-line monitoring system. Developed for the first time, this standard is a guiding standard. |
