Background
In order to implement the Joint Declaration of the Eighth
TEMM and carry out the exchange of information about chemical
management policies and regulations among China, Japan and
Korea. The First Tripartite Dialogue on Chemical Management
Policies was held in Kanagawa of Japan in March of 2007. The
three countries have reached the agreement at the meeting
that China, Japan and Korea should in the first place carry
out the exchanges of the information about such aspects as
laws & regulations on chemicals management as well as management
methods. The main approach is the development of the page
on the tripartite cooperation on chemicals at the website
of environmental protection department of each country with
release of relevant information. The three countries should
link their main page to TEMM website. At the same time, relevant
websites of the three countries could be linked to each other.
