An official in charge from Ministry of Environmental Protection (National Nuclear Safety Administration) said today that at 16:00 on March 17, the Ministry (NNSA) continuously released the real-time and constant values of the absorbed dose rate in air as monitored by automatic radiation monitoring stations in provincial capital cities and some of the prefectural-level cities. The monitored values are shown by green curves and the blue column represents the natural baseline level in the figure. As the green curves are below the blue column as shown by the figure, so the radiation level in our country has not yet been affected by the Japanese nuclear accident.
